Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom. Viktor Frankl

Treatment methods

Developing the therapeutic relationship is critical to the success of therapy. I strive to cultivate emotional safety with empathy, active listening, non-judgement, and unconditional positive regard.  Treatment modalities will be tailored to your strengths, interests, and goals.

The foundation of my practice is built on evidenced-based practices that integrate work with the mind (your thoughts, belief system and awareness), the body (how your thoughts are manifested in your body as actions), as well as individual and cultural meanings (using your strengths to cultivate eudaimonia that uniquely evolves meaning in your life and connection to others).

Group Therapy for Substance Abuse will be running as needed with a minimum of 3 members and a maximum of 12. Please contact us if you are interested in joining.

Some of the treatment methods I use are:

  • Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Positive Psychology

  • Trauma Focused Sensorimotor Psychotherapy

  • Mindfulness Practice

  • Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy

  • Neurofeedback

  • Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples Therapy

  • Family Systems Therapy for Families
